Gundersen Health System is looking to add a .5 FTE, nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our amazing team to work both in the Express Care Clinic and Family Medicine Clinics in La Crosse and Onalaska, WI.

This is an excellent opportunity for any new NP or PA seeking to grow into a primary care practice at a gradual but steady pace!!

The Express Care Clinic is located within a retail setting, supported by a medical assistant on-site during the week to register and room patients, as well as the clinician. The focus is primarily management of minor illnesses, but affordability, ease of access, and promotion of health in the community is vital to the mission. Express care does have scheduled vaccinations as well as being responsible for E-visit and Online Scheduled visits.

Family Medicine Clinic is in both La Crosse and Onalaska WI. Both clinics offer full-spectrum family medicine services. We are looking for a team-oriented clinician who is seeking an opportunity to provide full spectrum outpatient family medicine.

Express Care hours:

* Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

* Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

* Sunday, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

* Weekends are rotated between all staff with flexibility in scheduling (Rotation is every 4th weekend).

  • Closed Major Holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving,

Christmas Eve (1/2 day), and Christmas Day.

Family Medicine Clinic hours:

  • Monday- Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • Closed weekends and Major Holidays
