Position Summary

The Media Operations team provides comprehensive support to KINESSO's addressable team by offering expertise in billing, forecasting, reconciliation, reporting, and focused analytics. The manager is accountable for maintaining billing accuracy, ensuring prompt payments to partners, and forecasting media spend for company reporting purposes. They serve as a primary escalation point and are recognized as the go-to experts internally and externally for matters related to invoicing, reporting, and forecasting media spend. Successful candidates must demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel, possess finance experience, and have a track record of team management/mentorship. This role will serve as a key liaison between the finance department and the day-to-day media teams. Strong communication skills for both internal and external interactions are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee billing processes for programmatic media campaigns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of invoicing.
  • Reconcile billing discrepancies and work closely with internal finance partners and agency teams to resolve any issues.
  • Partner with internal finance business partners to make necessary adjustments for intercompany billing to be accurate.
  • Partner with Finance to continually improve process, organization, and structure that the media team uses to drive billing, forecasting, and month end close efficiencies.
  • Develop and maintain billing forecasting models to accurately predict media spend.
  • Generate ad hoc reports and analytics for leadership projects and report and track Joint Business Plans with partners to meet internal commitments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and monitor billing trends to identify areas for process improvement to streamline operations.
  • Optimize reporting processes to enhance efficiency and precision, driving incremental improvements in operational workflows.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a very strong level of attention to detail
  • Accurate, curious, and efficient in work with strong communications skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience in forecasting and budget management preferred.
  • Experience working with internal finance partners.
  • Expert level proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of programmatic media buying, and ad tech ecosystem is a plus.
  • KINESSO does not require candidates to have a college degree
