Position Summary:
The Human Resource Generalist at Uwajimaya administers various critical functions within the Human Resources Department, which may include Recruiting and Hiring, Wage and Salary Administration, Benefits and Leave Administration, HRIS/Reporting/Payroll Administration. Additionally, lead assigned corporate program administration, driving its design and execution to align with Uwajimaya's mission and strategies. Reporting directly to the head of Human Resources or designee, this role demands extensive collaboration across departments and locations, ensuring strict adherence to legal compliance, offering employee assistance, and interpreting policies. The position necessitates independent work, emphasizing organization, effective communication, and sound technical judgment. Moreover, the Human Resource Generalist engages in external communication with a variety of entities, including government agencies, community organizations, and various vendors, contributing to the broader scope of organizational interactions and responsibilities.
Starting at $65,478 annually, Depending on Experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Business (preferably in Management/Human Resources), Social Science or related field.
One to Two years of Human Resource experience or related experience.
Proficient in office applications (Excel, Word) and other business software tools.
This position will primarily be required to work in-person at company locations. However, there may be opportunities for remote work based on business needs and team formation, providing flexibility.
This role requires frequent travel to various company locations. Candidates must have reliable transportation to fulfill this requirement effectively. Travel frequency may vary based on business needs.
