Position Summary:
Under the daily guidance of the Assistant Chair, the Office
Assistant provides primary administrative and technical support services to the
Department of Biomedical Engineering in preparation for Summit event in summer.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare material for Summit event; maintain website,
register participants, submits work orders, service requests, and parking
requests.
- In addition, coordinate with the Administrative Coordinator and the
Chair of the department the logistics of the summit event.
- Greets and provides information and assistance to Summit
participants to provide service/support. Provide other assistance as requested.
Prerequisite Qualifications:
- Office experience in the academic setting.
- At the university's discretion, the education and experience
prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the
satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and
experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
