About the role....

The Quality Management Systems (QMS) Director would lead and develop the Inari Product Quality Management system defining the overall strategy and implementing it by managing teams and projects across the business, striving for best in class processes and practices to discover, develop, produce and deliver products that will meet internal and external customer expectations. The Director of QMS will be located in West Lafayette, IN and report to our Chief Product Officer.

As Director of QMS, you will.....

* Provide leadership and strategic direction in the development, implementation, maintenance and governance of quality management systems and documentation, as well as process improvement initiatives, in compliance with regulations, for the INARI seed product pipeline.

* Drive cross functional collaboration and engagement in creating, implementing, and driving QMS policies and procedures. Ensure training plans as required.

* Develop strategic fit for purpose plans and policies to ensure seed product quality meeting costumers' expectations.

* Lead and manage the QMS from product conception through the delivery of product to customers by driving competitive performance metrics. Ensure effective processes in place to define and capture key performance (KPI (key performance indicators)) indicators and metrics.

* Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses to identify areas for improvement in quality systems and documentation practices.

* Monitor the performance of the quality management system using key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, effectiveness checks, and management review to identify trends and areas for improvement.

* Ensure a proactive quality culture so that customers receive the product to the highest quality and reliability standards; study industry benchmarks and define the metrics required to assess performance.

* Drive continuous improvement culture for business performance to deliver strategic goals.

* Drive and assist in continuous improvement activities throughout the business ensuring that problems are prevented and that customer requirements are met. Resolve problems effectively and economically.

* Manage product non-conformances alongside technical and operational experts to develop corrective and preventative actions within required time limit.

* Develop and implement internal and external audits plans and ensure plan execution.

* Report on Quality activities on a regular basis to the Senior Management team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key Performance Indicators.

You Bring...

* BS degree in Engineering or Science related background with a focus in quality (Masters preferred)

* 5 years Quality Management Systems Experience required.

* Experience in lab or product development environment preferred.

* Experience in managing problem solving projects.

* Seed Industry or Agriculture background preferred.

* A collaborative mindset that is open to giving and receiving ideas, perspectives, and feedback

* Ability to effectively collaborate cross functionally.

* Strong communications skills

* A powerful sense of purpose and drive to develop unique, high impact solutions.

* Adaptability and enthusiasm for new challenges, innate curiosity, and a passion for learning
