We are seeking an End Dump Driver for our customer, County Ready Mix Corporation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate an end dump truck to transport and deliver materials such as dirt, gravel, and asphalt.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safe operation.
  • Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle maintenance, and any issues encountered.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site supervisors, and other team members.
  • Ensure the secure loading and unloading of materials.
  • Keep the truck clean and in good working condition.
  • Report any mechanical problems or necessary repairs to the maintenance team.
  • Assist with other duties as needed in support of the company's operations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
  • 2+ years of experience driving an end dump truck or similar vehicle.
  • Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards.
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Physical ability to load and unload materials, as necessary.

Work Environment:

  • Working in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Work near moving machinery and equipment.
  • Work alongside moving traffic on roads.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders, reach squat.
  • Frequent Sitting.
  • Standing / Walking / Climbing.
  • Squatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending.
  • Pushing / Pulling / Reaching Above Shoulder.
