Job Description
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
  • Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements. Provides objective evidence of results.
  • Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring.
  • Identifies and documents discrepancies. Segregates and controls non-conforming items.
  • Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.
  • Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
  • Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.
  • Provide oversight of specific greenline and skin scan inspections for each line unit to ensure all inspections are completed, defect rework is complete and the rework has a Boeing buyback prior to the unit shipping from Spirit.
  • This includes creating and providing a NCR effectivity coverage panel specific for each line unit, tracking the entire inspection process, creating a 4-square for new NCRs (CMES access), managing rev control, completing a final coverage panel of the inspection condition and preparing executive level reports and presentations.

  • Top 3-5 Skills needed to perform this role/job:
  • Type of background you are looking for (education, # yrs experience, etc.): aerospace manufacturing
  • Software skills required: FLUENT IN MS OFFICE/TEAMS - STRONG COMPUTER BACKGROUND

Preferred Skills:
  • AS9100, FAA regulations, QMS Training.
  • AS-9100 Certification

Education
  • Education Requirements: Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).
