Job Overview

The role of the MPT I is to provide Contract and Program Management support to the government customer. These tasks will require the employee to have the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance related to the management and contract support supplied to the customer. The candidate will also perform routine receptionist functions at the Stafford, VA office. This position reports to the Site Manager.


Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Job Functions:
  • Develop/coordinate/submit all material requisitions required for multiple programs.
  • Responsible for managing Task Folders, collecting data for each task and collaborating on statues reports as required.
  • Provide financial data on individual tasks/projects, track and coordinate material shipments and provide the sponsors with updates as required.
  • Communicate with employees on specific tasks.
  • Responsible for reviewing Expense Reports prior to final submission and communicating with the employees for corrections and processing.
  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Maintains Security by following procedures; making visitors register at the kiosk for a visitor's badge.
  • Distributes incoming mail.
  • Keeping inventory of office and kitchen supplies, creating purchase requisitions for needed supplies, and checking incoming deliveries against purchase orders.
  • Review, receive, and reconcile subcontractor and vendor invoicing against the contract tracking workbook to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Mandatory:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Two years of relevant hands-on professional experience (relevant coursework in an accredited college or university may substitute for experience)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel for financial reconciliations and reporting
  • Experience with Adobe and other relevant software tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
