Responsibilities

New opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join the BNANO Finance Team. Bruker Nano, one of Bruker's four operating segments, provides customers in academic and governmental institutions, life science, materials, and applied industries with the tools to determine the characteristics of matter and visualize the structure of molecules. Divisions within BNANO include Bruker AXS, Bruker Nano Analytics, Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology, Fluorescence Microscopy, and Canopy.

    Responsible for preparing budgets, forecasts, financial analysis and reporting, providing ad hoc analysis for decision making support
  • Prepare adhoc, weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial analysis to support regular executive staff meetings and key corporate initiatives, projects, and strategies
  • Prepare weekly variance analysis of actuals to forecast and budget, explain and investigate any major discrepancies, and understand key business drivers
  • Suggest trends, resulting implications, key actions, and strategic implications
  • Support teams in the annual and quarterly operating budget and forecast processes
  • Participate in monthly close process (accruals reviews, variance analysis) and review meetings with business partners
  • Implement and drive automated dashboard reporting
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum of 3+ years corporate finance or accounting work experience within a public company
  • Self motivated, technically proficient with a demonstrated continuous improvement approach
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite and Excel including ability to create and operate complex financial and scenario models
  • Experience with enterprise-level accounting and planning software; D365 preferred along with PowerBI, Tableau
  • Excellent attention to detail with proven ability to create automated or semi-automated reporting and convey to stakeholders
  • Fluency in written and spoken English with excellent verbal, written, computer, interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical problem-solving along with advanced organizational and time management skills
  • Schedule flexibility with proven ability to manage deadlines from multiple project streams
  • Proven ability to work effectively and build collaborative relationships with all stakeholders in a complex global environment
  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate and influence with a willingness to maintain open and transparent communication
  • Receptive to change and maintains an open mind
  • Operates at the highest level of business ethics, honesty, and personal integrity
  • Ability to satisfactorily complete position training requirements
  • Valid US Driver's License in good standing
  • US Citizen or US Permanent Resident status
  • May be required to pass security clearance investigation.
