PURPOSE:

The Corporate Accounts Manager will be responsible for execution of sales plans in our key accounts group. This position will focus on our identified key accounts, focusing on growing sales and margin within those accounts while fortifying our relationships with all levels of those accounts. This role will interact with other Sales Representatives, Plant Personnel, Accounting/Credit, Pricing and Transportation staff.

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive growth with identified key accounts
  • Develops relationships within our identified key accounts.
  • Prepares reports as required by management.
  • Development of growth strategies based on market and company data.
  • Prepares and presents quotes, including transportation, freight, import/export and all other related services.
  • Will act as liaison for the customer's product development and/or quality staff.
  • Assist in the development, quality and operations in the initial establishment and maintenance of customer specifications.
  • Build partnerships with corporate manufacturing, supply chain and other stakeholders to deliver best in class service for customers.
  • Position requires extensive travel (40% or more) and is on call for troubleshooting at customer locations.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in Natural Resources and Energy sectors
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience, with experience dealing with large accounts at high levels
  • Valid Driver's License required

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:

  • Experience in selling specialty chemicals and lubricants (preferred)

  • Strong sales and relationship building skills
  • Ability to effectively influence othersStrategic and creative thinking skills
  • Understanding of business plans and metrics, with the ability to course correct to fit company needs
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the sales, business and market development field
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills to effectively work with individuals both inside and outside the company
  • Proficiency in use of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Demonstration of Calumet Values- Safety, Environment & Social Responsibility, Teamwork, Ownership, Passion for Customers, and Excellence

PRODUCT PORTFOLIO

  • All Calumet products within identified key accounts
  • Cross selling Calumet products as opportunity arises - contact the sales group with the requested product
