Applicants must be able and willing to drive to field locations and operate field equipment including drones. If not already licensed, the applicant is expected to become a part 107 drone pilot within one month of hiring.
The position will be housed at the Livestock and Forestry Research Station near Batesville, AR.Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Technology, Geosciences, or related field of study is required.
Preferred Qualifications
A background in pesticide application, fertilizer application, farm equipment operation, GIS data collection, and related software analysis is highly preferred. Previous experience with small-plot research management and plant and soil sampling is also preferred.
