Dana-Farber Cancer Institute / Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy Post-Baccalaureate Scholar Program
The new DFCI / PICI Post-Bacc Scholar program is welcoming applications for a position beginning Summer 2024. The program is open to recent college graduates from underrepresented or disadvantaged backgrounds who are preparing to continue their education and scholarship at graduate or medical school. A full-time, paid training experience, the program will match scholars with a DFCI PICI faculty member to conduct full-time, hands-on cancer immunology research projects that provide training needed to successfully apply to and complete competitive graduate or medical school programs.
The robust program will also include comprehensive preparation and support in professional development and applying for graduate school. Other activities will include presenting research in a variety of contexts, serving as near-peer mentors for high school and undergraduate trainees,
and participating in/facilitating journal clubs.
The target start date for Summer 2024 is May 28, 2024.
