Every month, hundreds of millions of people around the world come to Pinterest seeking inspiration for all of the big and small moments in their lives. The Discovery team connects them with the most compelling content at the right moment across the highest trafficked experiences in the app, such as Home, Search, and Browse. As a Senior Product Manager, Discovery, you'll partner with some of the industry's best engineers, data scientists, researchers and designers to envision and realize the future of content discovery, evaluation, and realization at Pinterest. The initiatives you drive will have company-level impact and bring delight to Pinners all across the world, as you bring new experiences within Discovery to life.

What you'll do:

  • Leverage feedback from multiple sources of customer feedback to inform product enhancements and help prioritize roadmap decisions
  • Define a clear vision for your product, and evangelize that vision to relevant teams around you
  • Responsible for crafting a 6-12 month product roadmap that aligns with the broader product area, company goals, and your product vision
  • Owns outcomes for your products and sets clears OKRs for your teams to achieve
  • Actively reduces ambiguity for immediate team and cross-functional partners within a product area
  • Works closely with partner teams such as user research, data science or product marketing to identify key opportunity areas that will drive customer and business impact for an individual product or product area
  • Develop clear narratives to help others understand strategic priorities and progress in your product area

What we're looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in a role related to product development, at fast-growing technology companies
  • Proven ability to lead teams and work in a highly collaborative environment
  • Capable of driving clarity while balancing multiple perspectives and stakeholders
  • Comfortable diving into ambiguous technical problems, working closely with engineering teams
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly in writing and verbally to many stakeholders
  • Great business judgment and ability to influence others with strong analytical thinking
