Location: Columbus, Ohio

Business Line: Providing the most extensive product and service portfolios, where the airfield, apron, tower and terminal are the foundation for fully integrated solutions tosupport airport development and optimize operational procedures

The opportunity
ADB SAFEGATE, a leader in smart airport solutions, is seeking a Commissioning Engineer for their Columbus, Ohio office.

You will make an impact by....

• Provide field start-up and commissioning support for advanced products.
• Support Project Manager in various tasks, including factory acceptance and system acceptance testing, design, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Generate and support technical documentation and training materials.
• Conduct technical training for internal and external customers.
• Become familiar with FAA and ICAO regulations, international/national standards, and CE/EMC/IEC requirements.
• Promote the company image in the airport lighting industry.
• Travel nationally and internationally (65-75% of the time).

The talent we want to inspire has..

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of related experience, including field technician work.
• International travel experience.
• AutoCAD/Drafting/Design experience.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Pass required BCI and FBI Background Check.

This would be a plus but not a must!

• Fluent Spanish is a plus.

Key Additional information:

• Majority of work performed on customer sites in industrial environments.
• Exposure to various weather conditions and high voltage/current equipment.
• Moderate noise levels.
