Position Summary

The Patient Care Services Supervisor provides oversight and coordination for a designated clinical program and related patient care areas. The primary focus is supervising daily patient care and ensuring that the care meets quality standards in a cost-effective manner. In addition, the Patient Care Services Supervisor provides performance improvement, statistical data collection, patient and community education, and management of organizational change for the program and related patient care areas. The Supervisor collaborates with their direct manager on related goal setting and planning; and provides consistent and timely information and feedback to the manager, including input regarding financial and/or quality performance and human resource issues.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN), or Bachelors degree in related field, preferred

Experience

  • Two years clinical experience in area of specialty, or 2 years progressive clinical leadership experience in a related specialty, is required

Licensure/Certifications

  • RN: Registered Nurse licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
  • BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
