This position will report to the Director of Tax and will manage and/or assist with all aspects of International Tax, including tax planning, compliance, transfer pricing, and ASC-740 support. This position will also help identify U.S. and international tax process improvements as well as work on various ad hoc projects relating to international tax. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience on multiple items listed below and general familiarity with room to grow on the others. We ideally are looking for a professional with a mix of industry and professional service firm experience with the skills to roll up their sleeves and make a difference.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the international tax aspects of ASC 740 reporting, including the preparation of the international tax portion of the quarterly and annual tax provisions (subpart F, GILTI, BEAT, FDII, etc.), as well as review ASC 740 foreign tax packages prepared by foreign controllers.
  • Responsible for the international portion of U.S. income tax compliance including tax return preparation of subpart F, GILTI, BEAT, FDII, E&P, Sec. 861 allocations, foreign tax credits etc. Compile data for all filings for foreign entities (5471s, 5472s, 8858s, 8865s) for preparation by outside firm and review finalized forms for accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain supporting documentation of U.S. International tax workpapers, including E&P and tax pools, and PTEP.
  • Responsible for all transfer pricing documentation. Includes working with third party consultants for the preparation of form 8975 Country-by-Country Report, local and master files, drafting necessary Inter-Company agreements, management fee calculation and modeling buy/sell entities to determine the appropriate commission rates.
  • Monitor Pillar 2 implementation and prepare quarterly computation documenting impact on the worldwide effective tax rate. Develop a process for outside advisors to obtain data and prepare necessary Pillar 2 tax filings in the various countries.
  • Enhance, develop and implement international tax processes to improve efficiency, including assessing opportunities to use automation.
  • Research tax issues, monitor international related global legislative and regulatory tax changes and accounting standard update, and assist with the relevant tax impact analysis.
  • Assist with cross-border structuring and planning to support various business initiatives, including analyses and modeling for tax impacts, ramifications, and optimization
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks. Prepare and participate in U.S. and foreign tax audits and examinations.
  • Participate in acquisition related tax due diligence
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Executives, Finance, Accounting, and IT.
  • Manage outside vendors for transfer pricing documentation (CbyC Master File, Local Files) and tax planning and compliance projects.
  • Other ad-hoc projects and analyses

  • BS Degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • MST and/or CPA Preferred.
  • Minimum 5 - 7 years of progressive related experience, preferably from a Big 4 firm in combination with a background in Industry
  • A comprehensive understanding of U.S. International Tax concepts including CFCs, Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, Transfer Pricing, etc.
  • Demonstrated understanding of ASC 740 at a complex level for a global organization.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills and the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization both written and oral
  • Excellent data and analytical skills
  • Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22C.F.R. *120.15 are required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee. License exception Technology and software under restriction (TSR) defined in 15 CFR 740.6 may permit person from Country Group B.
