SUMMARY
The goal of the Intake Specialist/Administrative Assistant for AND pilot project is to provide timely communication between Bayaud and DHS from initial referral into services, distributing referrals among AND Benefits Navigators, supporting quality data and reporting to DHS on a regular basis. Position is responsible for providing administrative support to benefits navigators to best support participants throughout the SSI/SSDI claims process.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or 1 year of Administrative Experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as federal regulations, medical and psychological records, and data reports. Ability to write detailed reports and professional correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with participants, community partners and federal and state stakeholders.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area. Ability to develop a participant budget, calculate dates/times and track income changes.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
