About the role:

We are seeking a Product Manager, Visium Life Cycle Management to lead the commercial efforts of our on-market Visium product line. This position will report to the head of Visium product management, and will be responsible for day-to-day management of the business, including forecasting, sales enablement, inventory management, support reviews, and business analytics. This role will require interfacing with multiple stakeholders across the company, including sales, product marketing, support, operations, and R&D, and will have a high degree of visibility to senior management.

What you will be doing:

  • Leads the prioritization of feature requests, improvements, and additions for the Visium CytAssist instrument, Visium v2, and Visium Spatial Gene Expression product lines
  • Monitors on-market product performance to report on and respond to trends in sales, product quality, and customer satisfaction in close partnership with support, operations, and sales.
  • Works closely with support, R&D, and operations to drive life cycle management projects to completion, from scoping to project management to customer notification to reporting of results and impact
  • Works closely with support and our software teams to manage feature requests for firmware updates and the rollout of firmware releases
  • Responsible for forecasting for Visium products in life cycle management and for working closely with operations to ensure healthy inventory levels
  • Sets pricing strategy and monitors key performance indicators to ensure Visium portfolio delivers against product profitability goals
  • Works closely with Product Marketing, Regional Marketing and sales to develop and implement strategies and tactics to drive growth - sales enablement tools, marketing collateral, collaborations
  • Acts as subject matter expert on Visium products engaging with sales and support on strategic customer relationships
  • Interfaces frequently with customers and sales to understand use cases, customer experience, and portfolio gaps
  • Assesses alternative technologies and monitors competitive landscape for the Visium platform
  • Responsible for continually assessing the product portfolio, determining when products should be retired, and executing on end-of-life activities
  • Reports to senior executives on business performance and needs

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • PhD/MS degree in a relevant scientific field or MBA with significant experience in life science industry or the equivalent. 3+ years of industry experience desired.
  • Extensive domain knowledge and expertise in life sciences, biotech, and pharma
  • Must be able to build credibility and relationships across all functions and levels at the organization and with customers
  • Must be collaborative and a team player who knows how to leverage other functions of the organization
  • Experience in customer support (Field Application Scientist or Technical Support) a plus
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence internal and external audiences, using both oral and written communication skills
  • High level of organization, multi-tasking, and attention to detail
  • Analytical and metrics-driven
  • Self-starter willing to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to travel both domestically and globally up to 25%

Below is the base pay range for this full time position. The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one's skills, qualifications, and experience. At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company's total compensation package. This role is also eligible for 10x's equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program.
