The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing resource allocation, planning budgets, and analyzing barge fleet performance to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. What you will be doing... Your IMPACT

  • Create and maintain monthly boat fleet and budget reports, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze the boat fleet and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with the boat maintenance team to forecast resource requirements and make data-driven decisions for fleet optimization.
  • Develop and implement budget planning strategies to optimize resource allocation and control costs.
  • Prepare and present regular fleet and budget reports to management, providing insights and recommendations for improving fleet and budget performance.
  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of our barge preventative maintenance (PM) program.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support cost-saving measures and minimize disruption to services.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities for improving fleet efficiency and reducing costs.

You will need to have:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Proficient in using fleet management software and other relevant tools.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in analyzing and reporting data.

  • Sound knowledge of maritime regulations, industry trends, and best practices in fleet management.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
