Hours: Nights (6:45 p.m. - 7:15 a.m.)

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)/Nurse Manager (if position applies within hospital), the Nurse Supervisor will guide assigned nursing personnel, serve as a resource person and consultant, provide and oversee nursing care, and carry out hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives. The Nursing Supervisor will also maintain approved standards of patient care, and collaborate with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Nurse Manager. May provide oversight for the hospital in the absence of the CNO/Nurse Manager.

Qualifications

  • Valid State RN License required
  • Certified BLS required
  • Certified ACLS or completion in first 6 months of employment required.
  • CRRN preferred
  • BSN or enrollemnt in BSN program preferred
  • Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse; one or more years experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity is preferred.
  • Previous rehabilitation or hospital experience preferred.
