Compensation

Salary Range: $42.91 - $64.67 / hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Pay for PRN positions is calculated differently than Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time positions. PRN Rates depend on the position and other factors, including years of experience, or shift commitment according to the department policy. PRN differential is added in certain positions.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

As a member of the Information System team, this position executes operational tasks, provides project assistance, and technical support related to application systems and IT projects as directed by management.

Qualifications

Application Systems Analyst I

Required:

    One (1) years Health Information Technology experience
  • One (1) years' experience in an analyst providing application support, debugging, clinical or business workflows, and problem solving, and standard project management tools

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Previous experience supporting Acute, Ambulatory, or Business Applications, including, but not limited to, Meditech, Patient Keeper, Periwatch, Picis, Kronos, Allscripts Touchworks, Allscripts Practice Management, Dragon Medical One, and dbMotion
  • Experience with ServiceNow, and Citrix
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office 365
  • Clinical experience/license/certification

Essential Fuctions and Responsiblities:

  1. Assists with the project generated tasks from small to large size information system projects.
  2. Provides operational support for applications including troubleshooting, maintenance, training, and vendor interaction.
  3. Impartially analyzes new and/or possible software enhancements identifying present and future business needs.
  4. Work with end-users to ensure modifications are appropriate and are consistent with information systems standards.
  5. Provides clear and concise training and documentation on operational processes.
  6. Meet with end-users internal and external, assuring documentation is clear and understood.
  7. Assist is analyzing, identifying, evaluating and documenting end-users' needs.
  8. Assist in assessing current applications to determine whether system requirements, regulatory requirements, and daily operational requirements are met.
  9. Assist in analyzing present processes and programs for enhancements to improve data integrity, workflow efficiency and end-user satisfaction.
  10. Assists end-users to satisfy both ad hoc and ongoing information needs.
  11. Demonstrates detailed level of knowledge of applications relating to assigned business areas.
  12. Responsible for timely and accurate problem resolution.
  13. Utilizes standard documentation and the help desk system as daily tools.
  14. Escalates problems to suitable resources, ie colleagues, vendor and/or information system management, when required to assure timely resolution.
  15. Advises and consults with all end-users on the functional capabilities of the various CMH applications to enhance their productivity and ability to perform.
  16. Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and workshops.
  17. Maintains an awareness of current technology including other related areas of information services.
  18. Assists in implementing policies and procedures for the department operation.
  19. Performs other duties as assigned.
