Your Role

This summer BeaconMedaes will be offering a full-time summer internship. We are seeking a Logistics Intern to help support our Logistics team in our daily operations. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to the success of our company.

Responsibilities are focused on the following:

• Upload shipping documents in document manager system
• Work with the buyer with rental files that may need to be created or modified
• Help with writing step-by-step instructions on how to perform certain customer service-related tasks.
• Follow-up with customers via phone and email regarding shipment status
• Participate in training and learning opportunities to develop a strong understanding of logistics principles and practices
• Other logistics related activities as assigned

To succeed, you will need

Skills/Experience:

• Fast learner with an efficient way of working
• Open, communicative, and team-oriented personality
• Possess strong written & verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail, be well-organized, and show initiative
• Have a strong understanding of Microsoft Word & Excel

Work Schedule:

• Students should be able to commit to 40 hours/week employment during the internship program and be able to work on-site at our Rock Hill, SC facility.
• Eligible to work in the United States without company assistance.

Education:

• Rising Junior or Senior as an Undergraduate student at an accredited college, university, or technical/vocational institution.
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
