The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
  • Providing psychiatric nursing care for patients ages 10-17 years on our new Community Based Acute Treatment (CBAT) Program.
  • Administering and monitoring medications as part of treatment plans.
  • Overseeing and managing therapeutic milieu and overseeing care provided by Milieu Counselor colleagues.
  • Participating in individualized treatment planning and supervise the implementation and revision of plans.
  • Utilizing interpersonal skills to establish and maintain therapeutic relationships.
  • Providing patient/family education on aspects of care including symptom management and coping.
  • Working as a team player and functioning as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
  • 8hrs every other weekend, rotating days/evenings with occasional overnights and rotating holidays.

To qualify, you must have:

  • BSN required.
  • 1+ years of experience in a behavioral health setting. Inpatient and pediatric experience preferred.
