Edera is seeking a Management Consulting Manager who will provide oversight engagement activities in the federal sector. The Manager will work within the Management Consulting capability to steer service and product offering development, project planning, resource management, issue and risk management, and business development.

Sample responsibilities for this position include:

  • Leverage existing and build new client relationships, develop leads, cultivate a targeted list of prospects and lead sales efforts within a targeted set of clients working closely with Edera leadership.
  • Supporting the development of appropriate capture and bid and proposal materials.
  • Assist account teams and practice leaders with qualifying, pursuing and closing opportunities.
  • Play a leadership role in driving pursuits and contribute to the development of proposals and coach the team through orals preparation.
  • Managing a team and work in line with established plans/budgets, contractual requirements, firm standards, and established processes.
  • Developing team members through timely and constructive feedback and mentoring, and providing guidance and direction on analyses, solution development, and challenging client interactions.
  • Articulately presenting strategies and potential solutions rooted in experience, Edera methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrating technical expertise and develop and execute process improvement strategies and mechanisms to evaluate projects for their effectiveness and integrate lessons learned, as appropriate.
  • Driving development of new intellectual capital and/or marketing collateral and content consistent with the business strategy.
  • Develop internal relationships and collaborate with Edera leadership to formulate and execute on a go-to-market strategy.
  • Identify and influence key decision-makers at all levels within the client organization.

In this role, ideal candidates possess an innovation mindset and tactical business development acumen to support Edera's strategic objectives. The role, responsibilities, and geographical focus may be fluid and develop over time along with the company's growth.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience managing large-scale implementations
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience managing federal business development efforts
  • Willingness to travel

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Federal health experience desired
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills in MS PowerPoint
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Demonstrable skills in MS Visio and PowerBI
  • Demonstrable understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, RUP, other)
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, ProSci) or technology certifications (e.g., ITIL, SAP, Azure, AWS, OCI, PowerBI)
