What You'll Do

  • Successfully lead a group of high-quality and respected healthcare professionals and directly report to the System Director of Cardiovascular Services.
  • Work diligently with key stakeholders to maintain and continually develop Asante's cardiovascular and interventional radiology services and interventional stroke program.
  • Work to develop seamless interdepartmental communication and teamwork between Cath Lab and Cardiovascular Recovery along with other key partnering departments such as our pacing and valve clinic.
  • Develop and discover the ever-changing growth for cardiovascular and neuro services through increased growth and facets of learning.
  • Develop annual operating budget and capital expenditure plan, including a mechanism to monitor plan implementation and outcomes.
  • Engage in the performance improvement process to assure that the quality and patient safety between both departments drive excellence in patient care.

What You Must Have

Experience

  • 5 years progressive cardiovascular experience to include 3 years of formal leadership required.
  • Previous experience within an interventional Cath lab environment required.

Education

  • Bachelors' Degree in Nursing required upon start or completed within 6 months of hire.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Licensure

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing required within 90-days of start.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by American Heart Association required upon start.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential preferred.
