We have an exciting opportunity for a mid-level role as Order Administrator 1 to join our Kontron Family! This is a non-supervisory position. The main focus of this position is accurate sales order entry into the ERP system ensuring customers non-technical requirements are met.

  • Responsible for processing domestic and international sales orders per departmental processes.
  • Attention to detail is mandatory. Must be able to process and maintain orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Manage change order requests as requested from Sales, Program Managers, Planning and Purchasing.
  • Maintain departmental filing.
  • Ensure all incoming correspondence are processed and confirmed in a timely manner to assure orders are shipped correctly.
  • Interface with Sales Support or external customers via phone, TEAMS or e-mail for any shipment with remit to or terms discrepancies.
  • Be able to communicate efficiently with sales or other departments to resolve any issues with delays in processing orders and track lingering open action items to closure.
  • Understand and utilize the ERP system for order maintenance, problem solving and information extraction as needed. Report generation as needed.
  • Maintain open communications within department to assure information distribution is accurate and complete in respect to all aspects of departmental duties.
  • Send order acknowledgements as requested.
  • Work in a team environment with minimal supervision and promote positive interactions.
  • Ensure all departmental and company wide processes and procedures are followed in accordance with our ISO and other certifications.
  • Review and book EDI orders and verify transfer pricing with Sales Support.
  • Ensure that all export control measures are taken, and actively document information on all international orders for export control - including utilizing US government websites for customer verification and validation including ITAR compliance.
  • Update change orders as instructed by the buyer or planner.
  • Follow Debit memo / price corrections after orders have shipped when required.

Qualifications:

  • High School and/or Associate's degree (A. A.),or equivalent preferred
  • Two years administration related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Should have some knowledge of export regulations.
  • Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility on work schedule is needed ( start time of 8AM preferred).
  • SAP ERP experience, business systems and working knowledge of computer systems are preferred
  • Must be organized and able to work under time constraints.

Salary Description
$22.00 to $25.00/hour
