Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be at the forefront of technology as you have responsibility for the design and developing of firmware modules, ensuring they align seamlessly with our embedded software architecture.

  • Ensure the design of firmware modules and participate in the development of the embedded software architecture in accordance with defined technical specifications.

  • Uphold the highest standards by implementing unit testing coverage, identifying potential weaknesses in the product development process, and suggesting improvement actions to enhance overall quality and developing testing tools (automation, firmware testing, etc).

  • Engage in the evolution of our service by identifying opportunities for improvement, analyzing failures, and developing methods that push the boundaries of what's possible.

  • Prepare technical documentation associated with the development of firmware modules (report, communication supports).

  • Provide customer/field support in case of problems reported by clients.

  • Stay ahead of the curve by maintaining a keen eye on technological and competitive advancements, ensuring our products remain at the forefront of the industry.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, discussing the feasibility of product specifications, and contributing to the design of embedded software based on requested specifications.

Required Skills & Experience

  • C, C++ Coding: Proficiency in C and C++ coding for embedded systems.

  • RTOS Development: Experience in real-time operating system (RTOS) development.

  • Networking Expertise: Familiarity with wired and wireless networking protocols such as WiFi, Zigbee, Bluetooth, Homeplug PLC, and G3 PLC.

  • IP Stack Knowledge: Understanding of IPv4/IPv6, along with IP stack protocols such as SNMP, DHCP, and EAP.

  • IoT Enthusiast: An understanding and passion for the Internet of Things (IoT) concept.
