Learning Architect - Learning and Development -APS is seeking a passionate and innovative Learning Architect to join our team.
As a Learning Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing comprehensive learning experiences that meet the needs of our organization and learners. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with strong design skills, known for creating innovative solutions leveraging adult learning theory. Knowledge in emerging industry trends (i.e. social learning, podcasting, etc.) and project management skills a must!

Learning Architect - Learning and Development

1) Utilize performance-consulting techniques to engage with the business and determine performance gaps.
2) Comfortable in taking lead to work with clients, collaborate across the organization, and leverage leading edge design and learning technologies.
3) Apply leading edge learning & development methods and processes to define learning requirements that start by considering the experience of the modern worker.
4) Utilize or develop a variety of instructional design approaches that improve performance and effectiveness of APS workforce and can be scaled for organization wide learning capacity.
5) Design/create or curate learning curricula using various modalities. Experienced with virtual/ e-learning as the delivery method. Micro-Learning experience preferred.
6) Collaborate cross-functionally to influence and create momentum for learning program solutions.
7) Skilled at training and facilitating across a variety of modalities, to include virtual, in person and blended learning formats.
8) Manage across priorities to complete projects on time and with limited supervision.
9) Review and assess analytics, gather analysis obtained from training programs including synthesizing training feedback to make recommendations on learning solution improvement.
10) Mentor instructional designers and facilitators in peer training departments by transferring skills to teammates, explaining how to use instructional design methodology and how we translate subject matter into effective training and provide management and leadership expertise.

This position is not required to be performed at a specific APS facility as long as adequate technology and a solid ergonomic set up are present. Pending agreement with leadership, employees hired into this role will be able to choose where they prefer to perform their work. Employees will have two options to choose from:
