Job Description

Community Care Alliance is proud to offer an array of services supporting individuals who seeking recovery from substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. Many of these services are part of the Serenity Center, a peer-run recovery center. We are searching for a Peer Recovery Specialist Champion to support our team of peer recovery specialists. We run groups that support recovery using a variety of approaches - twelve step, SMART recovery, and others. Specialty groups are available to women, veterans, formerly incarcerated, LGBTQ+. If you thrive in an environment where every day offers a unique new challenge, our team is for you. Must be certified. Support other Peer Recovery Specialists to develop professional competency and to maintain personal wellness. Support clients to build recovery capital, individually and in groups. Create opportunities to engage in substance-free social activities. Connect clients to Detox and higher levels of care. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrate an understanding of mental health and substance use issues. Able to develop treatment plans and use an EHR.
