Drives segment product innovation and management through pods made up of marketing and product associates (2 minimum) dedicated per segment.Rather than having product teams working separately from the marketing associates, through this "pod" alignment, there's an efficiency in approach to innovation and product management.This leader isaccountable for strategic oversight for development of new offerings, benefits, features, products, programs etc. as well as the marketing. Oversight includes identification of market opportunities, product lifecycle management within each segment and innovative offerings which are financially sustainable and competitively attractive for accounts.

Oversight will deliver high performing products with sustainable financials including integration between the product and marketing work for each of the segments [merged market, commercial insured 51+, Commercial ASC, specialty including dental, pharmacy, stop loss etc.

The innovation and product management team will include market competitive analysis in partnership with the Strategy and CI organization, considerations around optimal distribution, pricing approach and long-term lifecycle management (including sunsetting where appropriate). A key component of this work will align with the PLM- Product Lifecycle Modernization work led by a peer in the Product and Marketing organization.

Experience and Education

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in the health insurance industry with a focus on market leadership, product, marketing or sales leadership
  • Unquestioned integrity, credibility, and character, having demonstrated high moral and ethical behavior.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or health care related field, or a combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background; MBA preferred
  • Strong relationship building skills. Excellent organizational skills and follow-through
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and telephone.
  • The ability to be flexible and to operate in a fast-changing environment.
  • An innate sensitivity to and respect for individuals at all levels, possessing natural leadership and qualities responsible to the organization[1]and able to obtain consistently superior performance from the team.

Salary Range: $311,130.00 - $380,270.00

The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.

This job is also eligible for variable pay.
