This is a direct temp to regular status position located on-site. Excellent benefits package after 90 days.
Schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday (must be available to work overtime and Saturdays, if needed)
Pay Rate: 14.75/hr
Summary: Responsible for testing, troubleshooting and repair assembly on computers. To include, but not limited to, notebooks, Chromebooks, desktops and/or monitors.
Responsibilities:
Successfully troubleshoot and diagnose hardware/software issues.
Ability to identify, document and report quality issues.
Good motor skills and the ability to use hand tools and other small equipment to successfully perform the repairs.
Requires a high and consistent throughput on repairs.
Attention to detail is necessary.
Regular and satisfactory attendance and punctuality are required.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous repair experience is preferred
Ability to maintain a 96% (rolling 13-week) attendance average
Ability to work under close supervision and follow directions
Effective math, reading and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Safely manage weights up to 45 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
Sit for long periods of time
Flexible hours with the possibility of overtime/weekends
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is frequently required to use hands for keyboarding operation. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand and reach with arms. The employee must regularly lift or move 45 pounds. Ability to communicate with peers and supervisors. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in ambient room temperatures with lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
