Effective October 1, 2021 , in accordance with the Rhode Island Department of Health , all CODAC employees working in the clinics must be fully vaccinated for SARS CoV2 (COVID-19

Locations: Pawtucket

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise all office personnel (office admins, medical assistants, onsite billers, etc) to assure that administrative functions are carried out according to CODAC polices.
  • Responsible for Interviewing, training, and evaluating office personnel
  • Data entry/tracking of admissions, discharges, and transfers (census)
  • Review EHR medical record for accuracy all new admissions specific to new treatment episode (demographics, consents, BHold data, insurance and all financial forms required to support timely collection of payment
  • Documenting and dispersing meetings minutes of program meetings as assigned
  • Maintain staff attendance records
  • Compile accurate new employee records
  • Schedule and assist with preparing for all onsite or remote (video conference) meetings for program staff
  • Compose correspondence for internal and external agencies
  • Obtain and maintain proficiency in Motivational Interviewing
  • Participate in Performance Improvement activities
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Maintain waiting areas in compliance with health and safety standards
  • Participates in Corporate Leadership Meetings as assigned- representing home clinic and assist with communicating company updates/changes to programs and program managers
  • Work collaboratively with Program Director as Program Safety Monitor
  • Developing an understanding of CARF and BHDDH requires as it relates to this role and Office/facility requirements

In the absence of the Program Director, perform such functions as time sheet approval, handling courtesy dosing requests, coordinate meetings and other related duties as deemed appropriate by Program Director

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma with training in office management and business software and at least 5 to 7 years' related work experience. Basic Knowledge of Medical Billing Required
