Cambridge Isotope Laboratories, Inc. (CIL) has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join the Supply Chain Team based onsite in our Andover, MA location. CIL is the leading company in a niche scientific market, CIL works with cutting edge researchers in clinical diagnostics, metabolic research, proteomics, environmental testing, protein discovery, drug development, metabolomics, and industrial research. CIL's growing customer base spans academia, pharmaceutical and the semiconductor industries. CIL is a subsidiary of the Otsuka Pharmaceutical Group.

The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and timely flow of product through the Quality Control department, Quality Review Group, and contract laboratories; coordinates operational support for the quality review scientists; and prepares quality reports for managerial review.

Responsibilities

  • Isotope Entry Processing: Initiating QC testing or sign thru documentation, coordinating review of data, labeling, and receipt into ERP.
  • Outside Testing: coordinating sampling and labeling of materials; initiating PO's; tracking and distribution of results; approving invoices; and communicating with outside laboratories.
  • Coordinate/monitor testing of QC samples for all CIL sites, including but not limited to, Ohio, Canada and France. Ensure QC results are emailed in a timely manner.
  • Initiate, monitor, track, and transact in house QC submissions.
  • Manage shelf-life program: run monthly reports, submit for testing as requested by management.
  • Coordinate and prioritize the review of product release packages based on order and/or production needs and assist in the prioritization of QC product testing to review group.
  • Run weekly Quality Control turnaround reports and review late items.
  • Run weekly report for releases - Review Group backlog.
  • Track and coordinate the inventory receipts and QC of CIL's D2O Recovery Program.
  • Track departmental savings in Mini-Tab and report progress quarterly.
  • Act as member of Inquiry Team and attend weekly Inquiry meeting.
  • Coordinate inventory disposal & requisitions, as needed.
  • Provide training and support for QC processes and transactions.
  • Other daily task as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required; science background preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the field of supply chain and/or inventory.
  • Excellent interpersonal, team building, and delegating skills.
  • Solid computer, organization, and communication skills; the ability to follow tasks through to completion; detail orientation; and the ability to multitask and meet multiple and changing deadlines.

In addition, increasing research into the potential medical advantages of new deuterated drugs is also occurring. In high technology, deuterated organic molecules and deuterium gas are commonly used in the manufacturing of microelectronics and OLEDs, which contribute to the increased lifetime of the devices.
