Cambridge Isotope Laboratories, Inc. (CIL) has an exciting opportunity to join the Supply Chain Team based onsite in our Andover, MA location as a Supply Chain Analyst. CIL is the leading company in a niche scientific market, CIL works with cutting edge researchers in clinical diagnostics, metabolic research, proteomics, environmental testing, protein discovery, drug development, metabolomics, and industrial research. CIL's growing customer base spans academia, pharmaceutical and the semiconductor industries. CIL is a subsidiary of the Otsuka Pharmaceutical Group.

The Supply Chain Analyst will conduct data analysis to improve our supply chain operations. The Supply Chain Analyst will also support the supply chain department to run smoothly resulting in increased efficiencies and reduction of costs.

Responsibilities

  • Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data
  • Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements
  • Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g. warehouse-slotting, route planning)
  • Develop requirements and standards (e.g. packaging, procurement, delivery)
  • Oversee inventory procedures
  • Discover the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedules
  • Evaluate vendor operations (e.g. freight forwarders) according to quality standards
  • Track KPIs and report on supply chain's performance
Requirements
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Mathematics or a related field
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in supply chain inventory required
  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, Logistics Coordinator, or similar role
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes & continuous improvement
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
  • Required experience in data mining, analysis, and reporting
  • Analytical mind with business acumen
  • Problem-solving aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail is necessary
  • Excellent interpersonal, team building, and delegating skills required
