Job Description
Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator Location: Working in Multiple States Job Type: Full-Time Travel: Up to 95% Salary: Hourly Rate, Health & Fringe benefits per Collective Bargaining Agreement Duties/Responsibilities/Physical Requirements:

  • Safely operate heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, excavators etc.)
  • Use biter bucket to disassemble buildings & structures
  • Excavate and grade dirt, fill &/or debris
  • Unload & load materials or equipment from platforms or trailers
  • Install &/or remove loader attachments
  • Coordination to use heavy equipment to separate various materials
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and lubrication of equipment
  • Agility to climb onto, into and out of equipment using ladder
  • Agility to walk and work on uneven surfaces
  • Agility, bodily coordination & dexterity of hands and feet
  • Ability to work productively in personal protective equipment throughout work shift in all weather conditions
  • Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies
  • Regular and Predictable Performance

Education / Experience: Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years' experience operating equipment or apprentice Job Specific Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Responsible and safety minded
  • Knowledge on the use multiple equipment hammer, shear, grapple and/or bucket
  • Ability to make visible distinctions among various debris & scrap materials
  • Ability to collaborate and work with a team
