Regional Account Managers (RAMs) constitute the field sales team at CareDx. Calling on a large territory; the RAM generates and maintains sales of AlloSure, our new non-invasive blood test for kidney transplant patients. You will interface with nephrologists, nurses, office managers, and other hospital/office personnel on the transplant team. As a member of the CareDx team, you will work Transplant Coordinator Liaisons, KOLs, and others to introduce/account manage AlloSure to nephrology offices You will interface with our marketing team, providing customer feedback and guidance in the development of our marketing programs and materials. Successful RAMs are self-starters who bring technical expertise combined with strong people skills and business savvy. You are motivated to exceed objectives, and you are a lifetime learner. You also enjoy working in a field/office where you can help improve the lives of patients while being at the forefront of the personalized medicine revolution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement AlloSure sales activities to achieve and exceed goals set by senior management

  • Expand AlloSure usage in existing accounts

  • Expand AlloSure usage by selling and training new nephrology offices the value of AlloSure in optimizing post transplant patient care

  • Manage training and education process within installed base

  • Lead new office set up process

  • Collaborate with transplant coordinator liaisons (TCLs) in day to day activities

  • Work with the training and marketing departments to implement new strategies and programs as directed by senior management

  • Ability to navigate complex selling situations

  • Establish credibility with leading nephrologists and other members of the care team

  • Orchestrate deployment of cross-functional team resources

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required

  • Minimum of 8 years sales experience including 5 or more years in medical device sales or capital equipment/biotech required

  • Consultative selling style with formal sales training (ie Sandler, Challenger) strongly desired

  • Proven experience in establishing and maintaining connections with a diverse set of senior contacts

  • Must be self-motivated and able to perform tasks and achieve goals with minimum supervision and direction

  • Ability to travel up to 50%, dependent upon account distribution

  • Excellent communication and detailed follow-up skills

  • Success in introducing new technologies to the market is a plus

  • The successful candidate will display the following qualities: competent, friendly, self-confident, able to form strong customer relationships, highly ethical
