Symbiont Science, Engineering and Construction, Inc. is a nationally recognized full-service engineering, design-build, construction firm. Founded in 1981, we utilize innovative engineering technologies that optimize environmental and sustainability goals to enhance our communities and our world.  

Our core business includes wastewater treatment, waste-to-energy, construction, manufacturing production process, and environmental projects. We have more than 140 professional and technical employees, principally located at our headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, our fabrication shop in Waukesha, Wisconsin, and our office in Peoria, Illinois. We also have full-time employees in Atlanta, Georgia; Fort Wayne, Indiana; Detroit, Michigan; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Nashville, Tennessee, as well as 15 permanent construction tradesmen. 

Our diverse team includes civil, environmental, chemical, mechanical, structural, electrical, and controls engineers as well as hydrogeologists, construction project managers, environmental compliance specialists, GIS analysts, and technicians. Through the application of innovative design principles and specialized engineering, we plan, design, and construct engineered solutions that bring value to our clients, advance their operations, and protect the natural environment.
