- Must be able to work extended hours to accommodate the branch, drivers and crew needs.
- Previous experience in moving and storage industry, preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 6 months dispatching or related experience
- Working knowledge of the basic planning and dispatching process.
- Knowledge of U.S. geography (locations of and distances between major cities).
- Proficient knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of DOT rules & regulations and HOS (hours of service).
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
- Excellent organization, administration and time management skills.
- Highly effective analytical, decision-making, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Able to set and complete priorities effectively.
- Willing and able to work long hours and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Ability to manage long distance drivers, independent contractors and agents.
- Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, coworkers, agents, and customers.
- Must be eligible to be employed in the United States.
- Must speak, read and write English fluently.
