Workplace Services Coordinator

The Workplaces Service Coordinator is part of the Global Real Estate/Facilities/Safety (GRFS) Group and reports to the Workplace Services Supervisor. In this role, you will have daily responsibilities for: Program and vendor management (janitorial, landscaping, coffee/tea, water, and waste management for the NorCal sites). Reviewing vendor job proposals and provide recommendations to manager. Creating vendor work orders and purchase requests. Planning and scheduling of vendor work and jobs. Invoice reconciliation, billing, and coding. Serving as liaison between employees and vendors while resolving workplace services issues. Coordinates consumables supply levels related to workplace services functions.

 

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Provide high quality and cost-effective services to meet common business needs.
• Be the principal contact and liaison between the NorCal Corporate Facilities group, Bio-Rad employees, and workplace services vendors.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of vendor invoices and to maintain budget levels.

What you Bring: 

• Associate degree desired / high school diploma minimum.
• Minimum 3 years experience desired.
• Experience utilizing SAP.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with facility workplace services functions.
• Experience utilizing CMMS software (work order system).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers.

Compensation: The estimated hourly rate for this position is $30.87 to $42.50 at the time of posting.  Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
