Assistant General Manager (AGM)

Job Summary:

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is responsible for supporting the General Manager in managing the daily operations of the restaurant. The AGM will assist in ensuring that the restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and employee morale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the General Manager in managing the daily operations of the restaurant
• Ensure that the restaurant is clean, organized, and well-maintained
• Assist in hiring, training, and managing staff
• Ensure that all employees are following company policies and procedures
• Assist in scheduling and payroll management
• Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies
• Assist in creating and implementing marketing and promotional strategies
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and served according to company standards

• Previous experience in restaurant management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
