Description

For citizens who are only able to work on Election Day, you can still play a crucial role in serving voters by helping out at Drive-up Ballot Drop-off Tent Team locations or on the 7pm Ballot Security Team.

Drive-up Tent Team:  Working in bipartisan teams, the Election Day Drive-up Tent Team Judges will be stationed outside for the duration of their shift.  They will collect ballots from voters who drive up to the drop-off location, and will securely deposit the ballots in drop boxes which the Ballot Security Teams will collect and deliver to the Elections Warehouse throughout the day.   Shifts for Drive-up Tent Team workers will be either 6:30 am – 1:00 pm or 12:45 pm – 7:15 pm.

Election Night Ballot Security Team: Drivers are needed at 4 pm to train to lock 24-hour Drop Boxes and return ballots to the Elections Warehouse after the 7 pm elections deadline.  Election Judges on this assignment will travel in bipartisan teams of two (in the same vehicle), and will drive their own vehicle (mileage will be paid to the team member who drives).  Most Election Night Ballot Security will be done with their shift between 8:00 and 9:00 pm. (Note: 7pm Election Night Ballot Security drivers are not covered by County insurance)
