Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing Office of Admissions on-campus and virtual open house programs for admitted and prospective students. Supervises a team of student employee tour guides. This position is an integral part of the visit team and, therefore, also collaborates and assists with additional visit experience duties.
Schedule
Maintain and satisfy minimum attendance requirements and work all full-time regular hours as established by the supervisor.
Some evening and weekends.
Duties and Responsibilities Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Plans and executes in-person and virtual admissions visitor events for prospective and admitted students including, but not limited to, all open house events (e.g., participant registration, staffing, venues, catering, logistics, vendors, presenters).
Hires, trains and supervises student tour guide employees.
Assists in the planning and execution of select in-person and virtual admissions visitor events.
Collaborates to determine the admissions visitors’ annual calendar of events and corresponding schedules for each.
Develops and implements electronic and print communication and materials for each event, as well as collaborates with admissions marketing staff on promotional campaigns and communication.
Develops and utilizes event functionality in admissions CRM software (e.g., event creation, managing event registrations).
Manages, creates and orders event related inventory, such as materials, supplies and branded gear.
Covers for work ordinarily performed by another staff or student including, but not limited to, coordination of daily visits, lobby coverage, answering phones and managing student employees.

3 years of event planning or related experience
Preferred:
Supervisory experience
