Job Description

Material Handler - Competitive Wages + Benefits - Mesa, AZ

The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Material Handler to work out of its brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Mesa. The successful candidate will report to the Material Specialist Team Lead and perform shipping and stock room duties within the manufacturing environment.

The key responsibilities of this Material Handler include, but are not limited to:

  • Package orders for the Assembly team according to assigned orders
  • Adhere to sound manufacturing processes and safety standards
  • Assists Production Supervisors with all aspects of KPI requirements (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost)
  • Drives Lean & 5S culture across responsible areas
  • Maintain accurate, counts and records of daily transactions of materials, Works-In-Progress, and finished goods through assigned areas, whether manually or electronically.
  • Other duties as needed

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Material Handler at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:

  • Capable of identifying parts and materials from specifications, drawings, or instructions
  • Experience with common carrier shipments, DHL. UPS, and/or FedEx
  • Experience with import/export materials procedure and customs regulations
  • Strict time management with self and other team members to support a productive work environment. Includes gathering hourly shipment stats & quick corrective actions to help team members reach their goals
  • Strong communication, Core Value commitment & excellent attendance
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize daily actions
  • Motivated self-starter, possesses abilities to work under general supervision
