Trade Center Management Associates is a private sector building management and hospitality service provider at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. We are recognized as a premier location in Washington DC to host meetings and events requiring the highest level of excellence in terms of service, food quality and presentation, and logistical planning. 

Currently, Trade Center Management Associates is seeking an Event Planning Manager to complete our team located at the International Monetary Fund.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan events at the International Monetary Fund
  • Work with the Chief Event Planner and other service providers onsite to ensure food and service is provided
  • Monitor the work of other service providers and enter all deficiencies into log
  • Take corrective action as needed to ensure the highest level of quality is provided
  • Interface with IMF personnel and assist with their meeting planning needs
  • Lead team of two administrative assistants- motivate, train and discipline as needed
  • Ensure that all meeting space and food and beverage is set correctly and on time, common areas are pristine, meet with clients prior to meeting/event, monitor meetings throughout the day, follow up with clients after meeting/event for feedback
  • Interface with other service providers, attend meetings as directed by Chief Event Planner
  • Prepare reports as directed by Chief Event Planner at IMF
Qualifications:
  • 5 years’ experience in event planning/operations
  • Bachelors' degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of event planning and execution
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
